Breached 150!!!

Ok, so weight fluctuates, I don't know anyone who would deny this fact but still this morning I finally breached 150! I was 149.6. Even throughout the flucuation of loosing weight I have yet to go under 150 till this morning. To put things in perspective. BC (before children), in college (Irvine) I weighed between 120-135max. I wore a size 8 mostly but some size 6's. After Morgan I inched up and stayed pretty consistent around 138 and wore 8's and10's. Then I've been continuing to inch up. After Carter I seemed to stay in the 145-150 range and wore all 10's. At my biggest, about one and half years after Nick I kept creeping up past 150 till I finally hit 160. I refused to buy size 12's because they just seemed so big and I can/could still squeeze into 10's. After joining Mama bootcamp I lost almost 10 pounds right off the bat and then flucuated around 153. Counting calories and making sure I got cardio in really made a difference in my weight. According to the program I watch my calories and try to keep them in the 1200-1400 range as well as cardio 2x a week, boot camp 1x a week and weights 2x a week. Well I did bootcamp Monday, had two bad days (over calorie range- one day I was double!), and then didn't make it back to the gym till yesterday. After the gym (and weights) yesterday and eating sensibly, I woke up this morning lighter then ever! Yeayy! So I'm excited. Getting closer to my goal of 25 lbs off. Only 15 more to go :D Maybe by my birthday I'll be smoking hot!
kudos to me

Neighbors

So my new neighbors are going out of town. They are taking a month and biking across several states. Now that sounds really cool. They do have kids, they're older, and they are going too. It just sounds so cool to decide to bike like a hobo. Free and clear. They're bringing a cell phone which is almost ironic considering they are doing a very basic trip. I'd love to not have a destination or three gazillion things when I take a trip and just go and be so physical that you know it's going to hurt and be taxing but at the same time give you such an adrenaline rush that it would be totally worth it. One day. Until then I will still love and worship lush hotel linens, having those three things out of a gazillion that I was happy to have packed, and the journey to the final destination... :D

On another note... moving sucks.

In case you haven't heard, we moved. Yes again. Grandma died (finally) and so we got up and said "I know, we're broke so lets lose money by selling our house and buying grandma's". So we did. In this market we got a great price for our old house (455K) and a decent price for grandmas (we technically had to pay full market price but there was no defined agreement for what market price was... and then they were kind and knocked off 8% for potential real estate and closing cost savings. came out to 505K). We did however end up with a better mortgage terms and a MUCH bigger house with MUCH more work to be done. It's tiring but we're in and we're getting it done. More to be posted later :D
