So I have no idea what got me started on the whole disney line of thought, but i was a doin the dishes and started thinking about Disney, and how Walt (it just came back to me- the kids were watching Fantasia 2000 and Nick was asking when the movie would start- guess he wanted some dialouge ;).. ok so how Walt Disney started all of his empire with a little mouse called Mickey. Well, when I think Disney these days I first think movies, usually the classic canon of Disney princess stories, and that made me wonder.. what is the classic disney canon? Is it mickey mouse stuff or is it the princess movies. And then we have the newer disney/pixar classics that I love just as much as the princess stories. And Disney Land. I wonder what kids think when they put all these Disney related empires together- mickey mouse, alice in wonderland, Cars, and disney land.
kinda blew my mind for minute and wondering what would the disney canon consist of?
My disney favs list would be (in no particular order except how quickly I think of them):

.... the first four that I would really commit to as favs if hard pressed... others are ones we own and I can remember off the top of my head...

Questions

there are certain questions i have.... for one- when did our second war start? I know we've bombed afghanistan and shit like that, but it seemed like there was a random "let's begin mentioning our second war" in the media lately and all i ever hear is about our two wars were fighting- so when did we declare our second war?
Second- love love love obama, but i've never heard of a "transition team" before. is it just because the poor man has so much damn work to do that he needs not only a transition team, but months of work that sound like not enough of time to get this man into the office? maybe because the last time someone 'transitioned' into the white house i was just starting off in college but i swear- is this transition team a much more press heavy newish thing?

bank woes

so i go to my bank the other day and since the atm's are being used, I figure what the heck- I'll go inside... my deposit will hit the account faster that way anyway. No line so it's all good.. walk up to the teller who asks how my day is and I customarily tell him that it's good, and also offer up the info that I decided to come inside to do my transaction because everyone else seemed to be using the atms outside. small talk right... well he proceeds to tell me that now Chase has purchased WaMu and so WaMu customers can use all Chase ATM's and banks... great right? thanks buddy for the piece of advice. So I go home and go to chase website and do the cool locater search- NO FUCKING CHASE BANKS IN A 200 MILE RADIUS or something like that... Seriously? why take the time to tell me some thing that is ABSOLUTELY NO use to me personally. What was he thinking? Oh, there's lines at the atm, next time just drive to the next figgin county or state to use the Chase ATM's- isn't this buyout/save you WaMu customers from complete and utter breakdown wonderful?
