I must share

So as my son finished using the bathroom, he needed help getting his PJ's back on... so as I'm helping him (which would be so much easier if he actually was working with me) he's asking what the hand symbol of pinky and pointer finger up (like this .|,,| ) means... We do a few signs and he knows the one for love ( \|,,| ) so it makes sense he'd want to know what other combinations might mean... so I tell him it means "rock on"... choose that over the devil sign... thought it wise to head off some other questions... so anyways, right after this, he looks down at his foot realizing that (in not helping me at all) his pj is twisted around his foot and automatically without thinking out comes "oh, that's funky".... seriously, a 4 yr old saying funky... automatically... cracked me up... so naturally it came out of his mouth- I just wonder where the learning for that connotation came from... what else has been funky in our lives?

Oh and then to top it all off, he says "rock off" and I correct him- no, rock on, and he continues "rock off", "rock on", "rock off" and I realize that he's just turnin off the rock.
